What an AMAZING start to the year!!!
In Minis under judge Gladys Mead (Minimed Mini Smooths) we just took Henry who was up with the big boys in Limit dog. He was placed 1st and then went on to win his 2nd CC and then BOB. Many thanks to the judge.
In Standards we had a brilliant day. Disney was 2nd in Open Dog and won the RCC in excellent company (he now has 2CC’s and 5RCC’s). Cookie at her first show back after her litter won Open Bitch and the RCC (she now has 1 CC and 3 RCC’s!!), but the star of the show was 11 month old Sassy who won 1st Puppy Bitch, then won the BCC and then went on to win BOB and BPIB. Huge thanks to judge Chrissy Gibson (Allfreys Wires) for placing our dogs so highly.
Sassy then went on to win BEST IN SHOW and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under Judith Armstrong (Lauralee Smooths). What an amazing start to the year for her. We couldn’t be happier.
Another good day at LKA, and we loved the new layout.
In Standards, Gadget had a rare appearance and won Reserve Best Male, Scarlet won Best Bitch. Thanks to judge Janet Welton. Gadget went on to win 2nd in a huge Good Citizens Stakes Class under judge Sue Searle.
In Minis we just took Bubbles who won Best of Breed and showed her socks off in the Group.
We had a great day at The Dachshund Club.
In Standards, Sassy won 1st in Minor Puppy Bitch then went on to win Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy In Show. Scarlet was 3rd in Open Bitch. Many thanks to breed judge Rachel Barney and BIS/BPIS judge Ros Rawson.
In Minis, Henry won junior dog and Bubbles won Open Bitch and the RCC. Many thanks to breed judge Daniel Roberts.

In Minis Henry continued his winning ways by winning Junior dog, but the star of the show for us was Bubbles who won an excellent Open Bitch class and then went on to win the CC and BOB under judge Stella Clarke, many thanks for thinking so highly of our dogs.
